Fat Thighs May Be Good For You

However, women who also stored lots of fat in their bellies lost much of their advantage. We arent sure how thigh fat prevents disease. It may be a receptacle that draws triglycerides and other fats from the bloodstream or it may draw fat from the abdomen and around organs where it could be lethal. Daily Skin Care for Men

One theory why so many gifts from husbands go awry is that men learn about gifts from their mothers, and these lessons stick on for long. Mothers are easily gratified by any gifts - a pair of slippers or a breadcutter - from their teenage kids. Wives expect more imaginative, more memorable gifts. And not only must a gift impress the receiver in some circles, it must stand the scrutiny of finicky friends as well. No wonder, there is developing among us the common practice of giving cash, instead of articles. Homemade Spa Treatments � A Great Way To Escape The Winter Blues

Rhode Island Divorce - Bank Account Issues in Family Court!

By Christopher Pearsall If you are going through a divorce in the Rhode Island Family Court system then the bank account(s) you have either jointly or individually with your spouse may be one of the first subjects that is addressed whether you like it or not. Both husbands and wives who are contemplating divorce from their spouse will generally have as one of their main concerns the bank accounts. This is for any number of reasons. The first reason is because it is likely to be the primary source of any immediately liquid financial resources to pay a divorce attorney to get your through the family court process. The second reason may be because it is this source of funds that is used for the payment of marital and/or family obligations and that without those funds the bills simply won’t get paid or the children won’t have food to eat. The third reason may be that one spouse is simply afraid that the other spouse is going to lock them out of the bank account and/or take “their half” of the money and it will never be seen again. Perhaps one of the most often questions that is presented in the course of my divorce consultations with prospective clients is this, “The account is in both or our names. I’m worried my husband (or wife) will file for divorce and take all the money. What should I do?” Technically speaking, before the divorce proceeding is filed the money belongs to both persons on a joint bank account equally. In otherwords, you both have a 100% right to the monies in that account (absent other extenuating circumstances that may provide an argument to the contrary). Therefore, if either of you take all the monies out of the bank, you have not committed any wrongdoing. That is not to say, however, that you then have a right to all of that money or that you will not have to account for it later. Rhode Island laws regarding divorce follow the principle of equitable distribution. Although this does not always mean equal distribution between the parties, this is generally where most judges start in a divorce case. Assuming that this is where most judges will start, it is not unusual nor unfair that a divorce lawyer will counsel his or her client to remove only half of the monies in a joint account to protected himself or herself from being divested of all the monies by the other spouse. This, however, should come with a caveat as well. A divorce lawyer giving this advice is usually NOT saying that when you remove half of the monies in the marital bank account that you are entitled to keep those funds, or that you will not have to account for them or that you won’t have to give all or a portion of those monies back or provide for an offset for those funds to settle your case. Once the divorce case is filed, the bank accounts in the name of either you or your spouse are essentially to be considered “frozen” with the exception of the payment of those costs and expenses that are typically paid from those funds on a regular basis. A Rhode Island divorce attorney therefore may give you this advice not to give you a financial windfall but rather as a protective measure. There are instances, however, when the money may normally be used without any adverse action by the family court. You should always consult your divorce lawyer regarding what you can and cannot do with the monies you withdraw from any bank account even before the filing of divorce. Though no orders truly control what you can and cannot do with monies you withdraw that you are lawfully entitled to, the opposing party can use your spending conduct against you with some judges and do some permanent damage to your case by tipping the judge in favor of your spouse. I speak to many people who want to reduce their wait and the first thing I ask them is how much do you want to reduce your weight by? The usual answer I get back is something along the lines of; Oh I dont know, I am just getting rid of my excess weight or Im just trying to lose a bit In fact I would estimate that 95% of the people I speak to do not know exactly how much they want to reduce their weight by! When you couple this with the fact that 95% of people who want to reduce their weight never succeed you start to see a bigger picture. I would also say that a large amount of those people also do not know how much they weigh in the first place, how can you know if you are succeeding if you dont know where you started from and where you want to go? The simple answer is YOU CANT! The title of this article is The Roadmap to Success so let me carry on with that metaphor. If you are going on a journey and you needed to get to a specific place that you had never been before would you just set off and hope for the best? No of course you wouldnt. You would want to know where you are setting off from, how far it is, what the route is, do you need to stop on the way, do you need a car or boat, do you need to catch a plane, what time do you need to leave, how long will it take you, and so on and so on. You may use an atlas or print a map off of the internet, you may phone the place that you are going so they can give you directions or ask someone that has been there before. Can you hear what I am saying? Do you see where I am going with this? If you can plan a journey with this much detail so that you get to where you want to be what is stopping you from planning your weight reduction journey like this and giving yourself the best chance of getting to where you want to be? The answer might be that you dont really know where to start; well I am here to help you. Below is a 7 point guide to planning your Roadmap to Success use it to ensure you give yourself the best possible chance of reaching your destination. 1. Find out where you are now! Thats right it means weighing yourself. I know that people who are overweight generally do not like weighing themselves; I have been there and know the feeling. Trust me when I say that this is an essential part of the journey. Just do it. 2. Decide on your final outcome! Work out for yourself what weight you want to reach. You can do this however you want, make sure it is achievable and that it is a healthy weight for you to be at. You now know how much you have to reduce your weight by. 3. Decide on a timeframe! Consider how long it will take you to reduce your weight by that much and set a deadline of when you want to reach your outcome. Again make it achievable there is no point wanting to reduce your weight by 4 stones (56 pounds) in a week. 4. Split the timeframe down! Set some smaller goals, if you have given yourself a year for example split it down in to monthly goals to be achieved. 5. Who/what is going to help you? Everyone needs help, its that simple. Maybe you can get advice from an expert or buy a book or ebook. Which friends and/or family can you count on for undying support? Speak to them, tell them your goal and ask them for their help and support. 6. Get started and dont stop! Sorry if that sounds simple but I hear so many people say I will start next week or I am just having a day off, I will get back on it tomorrow It is a hard truth that you cannot afford to stop every now and again or have a day off There is no better time to start than right now and no better time to stop than when you succeed. 7. Finally, get ready to celebrate! One key thing that people miss out on when achieving something is the celebration. Celebrating tells your nervous system that this is good and I want more of it. So celebrate in a small way when you achieve your short term goals then plan a huge celebration for when you reach your ultimate outcome. Ask yourself What is my ultimate prize for succeeding? then right down a whole list of things and choose the ultimate that you promise to give yourself once you have reached your final outcome. Maturity in Relationships

By Emelisa Mudle I remember once reading about being egoic in relationships and it certainly has made a great deal of difference in my life. I sat sobbing realising how I have continued a pattern of defence and protection through communicating on some level with my partners. In this I started to question: ~ How I am ~ How I react ~ How I choose to be In this reality check I started to become more conscious of my defences and interactions. I noticed how I would butt in mid conversation because I felt as though I was being misconstrued. I was so ready to pounce on some level I never gave the other person a chance to say all they needed to say. Now I am able to feel the energy of defence I sit in the feeling knowing when to step back and listen doing it this way feels so much more vulnerable and gentle. Even through my most hormonal challenging time I am able to sit balanced without deeply feeding into where it takes me. I believe we choose how we react so there fore my intent is love it feels softer, vulnerable making conversation simple loving and supportive. Healthy loving relationships take time, patience compassion and a large dose of commitment. It is important to sit and listen when another soul mirrors something about me that is hard for them but feeling strong and vulnerable enough to see if it is something I need to change or something that they need me to change in so they feel safe. Having a healthy conversation when things are confronting and being respectful of my heart knowing I have choices in my actions. Stepping back and not always having to say things straight away which than allows me time to feel and gain a better understanding of what I am really feeling. Knowing in me that the hurt child I carried for so long no longer rules my life and that I am able to reach out and create my own safety be less needy, be a better listener even when being accused of something being stronger in her heart boundaries and self worth. No longer feeding into the flight or fight games. I also dont believe you have to hurt the ones you love that in itself is a choice to I am not saying we wont hurt there is a difference between being honest and lashing towards another soul. Relationships will bring up your mum and dad issues how they reacted to you and how they communicated between themselves. As we grow we build up our own ideas rules and defences and become so rigid and lost in them that when something comes up in a partnerships we tend to think and blame the person in front of us when it is actually stemming back most times from our own childhood. This is a working progress I still feel hurt and get a little panicky at times hitting those powerless places when abandonment and low self worth run rampant. Its an amazing place to say I feel scared or I feel hurt I used to believe that being vulnerable was weak and tears where for cry babies. How mislead was I. Changing a perspective on healthy relating is the best gift we can give others and ourselves. I remember many years ago writing a list of what I wanted in my perfect partnership then being asked to turn the list around seeing if those are the qualities I have as well. At that moment I realised I had a lot of work to do. Being in a healthy relationship is such a beautiful joyful experience to actually love some one enough that your intent is always from an unconditional place. One other lesson I had learned is to not settle in a relationship, hanging on with hope that the person you are with is going to change that maybe by some great miracle theyll come around to the way we see things. It is important to be on the same page in areas of communicating, spirituality, libido, children and other areas, which you greatly value. If your partner values work way more than a relationship and you dont there will be a problem in priorities as you are both seeking energy in different places that can then cause separation and distance. We all deserve a beautiful loving relationship lets not rush into every attraction sometimes in our neediness for love we can confuse attraction with connection.
